Weight loss stories is a fun place to share your success or lack of success in losing
weight. There have been some bumps in the road, for those of us who have tried to lose weight. The biggest problem, for most,
is a mental acceptance to lose weight. We generally want to eat when we think of food. It must be bred into us. Food...eat.
Dieting can be stressful for many of us and when we become stressed, we eat. Do you have
a humorous story in your struggle to lose weight? Why not share it on Oldie Newbie? It may help someone in the same situation. WE have added an e mail link where you can send your story as well as your weight loss goals and successes..
Choc"o"holic
My biggest problem, in losing weight, is my love for chocolate. Anything chocolate! I felt like I was addicted to
chocolate. For a pick me up I would get a
chocolate bar and many times I would go for the two for one deal and keep one for my wife. Most times, she didn't get hers because I ate it. Someone told me,that admitting
your problem to others, was a start to a cure. One
night I was in a large group of people and we were given an opportunity to share. Nervously, I stood up and said I'm a Choc"o"holic (is there such a word). People
laughed, but just admitting to others that I had a longing or an addiction to chocolate has helped me deal with my over indulgence. Steve
