E mail us and let us know where you unexpectedly bumped into a Newfoundlander or Labradorian. I'm amazed at the number of people, that I meet, on "the mainland" who are friends with a Newfoundlander. I went into a garage, outside of Ottawa and a person heard me ask for some information. He asked me where I was from and if I knew so and so.

The following is a list of where we bumped into another Newfoundlander or Labradorian.

I was at a men's meeting with a church group and the gentleman next to me said he had a good news story to tell. This man owns a small resort. He received a call from a friend that they needed a place for a gentleman to stay for one night. He made arrangements to pick him up.

Apparently this person was from Newfoundland and was hitchhiking to BC because his mother was sick.

He was mugged in montreal and had all of his possessions taken. Someone gave him a ticket to fly to BC but he had no ID so he couldn't board the flight.

Somehow he found his way to Ottawa and Arnprior..This gentleman gave him a bed for the night. The church bought him a bus ticket and they gave him breakfast.

Also, they gave him enough money for meals and necessities and took him to the bus stop..

You don't know where you'll going to bump into someone who knows a Newfoundlander or Labradorian.

Met one of my best friends at a resort in Pakenham area
Friend met a Newfoundlander at Civic Hospital in Ottawa. She did her ultrasound.
At a 75th birthday party for a friend of ours.
