How was your hunting trip, have you been hunting, are you going hunting or do you hunt are questions that
most of us hear during or just before or after the hunting season. Whether we are hunting for big game such as moose,
deer, caribou, or smaller game such as geese, ducks or rabbit the questions are the same. Most
of us have our stories of successful hunts, of the one that got away or something funny or unusual that happened during a
particular hunting trip. Oldie Newbie is the place to share a story about your hunting trip. Whether hunting with a gun or
with a camera please feel free to forward your story.
In The Blind with a Buck My
brother passed this story along. It was deer season and this one hunter was a newbie to deer hunting. His buddies told him
to spay his clothing with deer scent to attract the bucks. Welll he attracted one..it jumped right into the blind after him..
Buck Fever from The Treasury of Newfoundland Stories published, by Maple Leaf Mills Limited, in 1961. This is a funny story.
